Navratri 2021 has just started, and in case you were not able to worship Maa Durga since day one of Navratri, here is your chance. You can perform puja for Maa Durga for the last three days to attain the blessings of Maa Durga. Here is how.
Mata Kalratri is worshipped on the seventh day of Navratri. Maa Kalratri looks like Maa Kali. If possible, on this day, go to the temple of Mata Kali and offer ‘bhog’ to this incarnation of Maa Durga. If you can, recite the mantras of Durga Saptashati.
You can also book an online Durga Saptashati Puja, performed by our expert pandits.
If you are doing Navratri Puja for only three days, then you can keep a fast on Ashtami. This is known as Durgashtami. The worship of Mahagauri on the eighth day of Navratri pleases all the nine goddesses of Navratri. On this day, you can also recite Durga Chalisa.
On the last day of Navratri, you can pray to Mata Siddhidatri, who is the bestower of all the Siddhi (accomplishments). From Gujarat to Bengal, during the last three days of Navratri, there is a ritual of worshipping Kuldevi in most places.
